For early ages, concrete is experienced the changes of volume by deformations caused by heat of hydration, moisture transmission into concrete or internal consumption of water by cement. As the result, these factors can lead to crack initiation in a concrete structure. The purpose and scope of this investigation are the calculations of two driving forces (thermal and autogenous strains) affecting crack initiation in a concrete under temperature gradients.
